...Me! Me!! ME!!!

I'm Prodhi...you can call me Prod.
I'm a YA reader/reviewer/ other than that, I'm a nutcase gone awry. Yes, I'm insane so to speak:) I'd say I'm a girl next door, but I'm much better off without a Pinocchio nose, thank you very much. I'm a pretty fun chica, I guess. I also realize that this About Me section doesn't do the three dimensions of my character justice. Or four. Or five. Or six. Oh shooh!

    Saturday Sighs: Double Dish
Okay, so I realized I should add in two or three more books from my cravings this week. So here's the second edition of today's SS post. Enjoy:)

Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison

This book looks sooo good! It's a romance, and here's the summary from Angela's website:
Beth, a tall, ugly girl survives high school in Port, Michigan, north of Detroit by keeping her head down and hanging out with best friend since pre-school, Scott, short, nerdy, fellow outcast. Her escape is singing.
Beth turns from beast to beauty (with the help of a pushy girl in her choir and a high-tech makeover) when she lands the solo spot in her all girls choir. Her mad vocal skills propel the choir into the international spotlight. They go to the Choral Olympics in Lausanne, Switzerland, where beth meets the star soloist, Derek, from the Amabile Boy’s Choir—right across the border back home. He puts the moves on her, and she falls hard for him. Derek is perfect—except for a troubling secret he won’t ever explain to Beth.
When she gets home, faithful, loyal Scott is there. He’s finally growing, filling out, almost as much of a babe as Derek, Beth is into Derek, but she’s torn up over how her relationship with him hurts Scott. She cares about him, too. And then Derek’s behavior gets more and more erratic. And Beth gets more and more unsure of what she should do.
Beth writes lyrics and Derek composes music. Beth’s lyrics are sprinkled through the novel, so there is a poetic element to Sing Me to Sleep.

Awwww! It's bound to be a great read. Remember Taken by Storm? Yup, Angela wrote that too. She's also going to write two sequels to TBS. Can't wait!

My Fake Boyfriend is Better Than Yours by Kristina Springer

Now, this one doesn't have a summary out yet...but you can guess:)

That's it for today! Five books...whew! Drool over them while I sign off blogger. Peace:)
